Lion Rock Boardriders Club had 20 surfers travel south to Westport for the 2022 National Surfing Champs and came away with 3 national titles.

Jack Griffith won the Over 60's, Carolyn Millar won the Over 45 Women, and Gabi Paul won the Women's Longboard for the 3rd year in a row.

With the conclusion of the New Zealand domestic competitive season, Lion Rock Boardriders Club has surfers holding down 11 positions in the top 10 in the 12 differing divisions. The club member's results are as follows:

Under 18 Boys - Jai Wallis 5th, Will Hardie 6th
