Lion Rock Boardriders is a Family Club.
While we do focus on helping our top young competitors to achieve their dreams, we are a family club who have mums, dads, and even grand parents who surf. Sometimes at the end of a contest everyone hits the water for a free surf like in this video.
We are also an inclusive club. We have shortboarders, longboarders, bodyboarders, kneeboarders, stand up paddleboarders, swimmers and beach lovers in our club.
Many of our members have been surfing and enjoying Piha for decades. Many are born and bred Piharians.
Feel free to come down to an event and meet friends or catch up with old friends. We surf because we love the good health and joy of being at the beach. Click here for more videos.
